Help- please
Sometimes it's the little things...such as the silly cap at the end of the funnel, which in my case, fell into my valve cover. I have tried to retrieve it, but to no avail. I have called various mechanics to ask their advice and it varies from removing the valve cover to not worrying about it. Any suggestions? I am leaning towards removing the valve cover but I would love to avoid doing it...I have a 99 f150 with the 5.4L engine. Thanks much

I agree!! If it just gets chewed up and goes to the pan it will Partially clog the oil pump intake. OR block a drain back passage to the oil pan....
