I keep forgetting to mention a book I am reading Called "War on the Run"

Thought you would like it..

It is about Robert Rogers and takes place in the 1750's through the Revolutionary War..

Robert Rogers was born in Methuen and moved to NH during the indian wars with England and France..

Rogers created the rules of warfare still used today..

 

I will have to look it up DOn. I havent heard of it before. Most of the rules that we use are from either the british military( early war and difficult to learn) or from Von Steuben ( late war and easy to learn).

 

Rogers rules are based on Guerilla type warfare used by the special forces.. I haven't finished the book yet, but it is pretty interesting to see what they had to deal with..

 

Thats why I havent heard of him then. I am versed in infantry tactics not rifle tactics.

 

Well I am going to go and say a big prayer for Ken's dad and I am off to bed
