First I would like to thank everyone on this board I have received a lot of help with problems that I had on my '88 F150.
Next my problem last week my reverse lights didn't work, I checked the bulbs and they were fine. But no backup lights worked in reverse. This week my reverse went I can't move the truck in reverse. Is this related in some way. I have a '88 F150 302 V8 automatic 4sp.AOD. Thanks for your help.
I think your problem may be in the linkage. Try turning the key to "on" and have someone watch the b/u lights while you go through all the gears. It sounds like you may not really be in "r" when you try to back up. Keep us posted.
