got a 90 bronco351 aod.the 4hi works fine but 4 lo when you let off brake its like its in netural then pops and lungs forward.and when i turn wheels it pops real loudsomewhere in front.only in 4lo.but no matter what you are in theres a popping in left front that sounds like a rock in a hubcap but when you apply brakes lightly it goes away until you let pedal up.it has 103000 on it but most are highway miles only had 15000 put on it in last 6years.also does it hurt to leave hubs locked all the time.thanks

66whitelightning, It could be a hub or maybe a bad U-Joint I had one that seized up in the front of my truck. I saved it just to see if I could ever get it (the cap) off of the u-joint. I dont leave my hubs locked just to save wear on all of the shafts and joints up front. John
