very ambitious today. Got the dash welded and painted along w 24 hing bolts,ash tray,glovebox door, door hinges and inner fender hangers?

Looks like it's coming together nicely. That '80-something's looking pretty good beside it too - almost the same height it looks.

I gotta find me a project - watching threads like this just make the bug bite harder...lol.

Yeah. The 86 in the pic is my most recent project. Its a F250 6" lift 6.9 diesel/4spd. It is going to be a F350 w a D60 swap,Rsk SD springs, POWERSTROKE , 5spd, and a compete tear down and rebuild

I just had the 86 shipped in from Oregon in the fall. No rust anywhere!!
It is sitting in a hole, thats why it is leaning

That's a big plus - no rust anywhere. Makes it so much easier to work with. I've got my eye on a 74 F-150 at the moment and while not beyond repair it's got all the familiar rust spots you see in this state...

Got alot done today, actually starting to look like a truck again. Doors hung and adjusted. The inner fenders,rad support and outer fenders on(loosely). Some how i did not clean and paint enough bolts. O got the rad in and filled w coolant too.

Definately looking like a truck again, and looking good. At the rate you're going it'll be finished next weekend or something...lol...nice when you have the time to do it.

all i have to do is "fit" the visor and wetsand. Then it will be ready for paint on sat AM

I really like that color (even though I thought you said it was GM...lol ). Once you get that clear-coated I think it'll really pop out.

And clearcoated. came out a lil orange peely but it will wet sand and buff out

Nice job!! that thing looks SAWEET!! And being from calif. I would have to agree with you, I have sold a few cars to people back east and they LOVE that it is rust free... and I thought the cars had A LOT of rust on them :P.
