Code 172
I got the code 172 Lack of heated oxygen sensor switches indicates lean bank 1 on my 1995 F150 5.0L engine.I changed the 02 sensor about a month ago and no codes until today.BTW I thought the 95 F150 5.0L only had one sensor and was unheated.

The 1995 does have the heated oxygen sensor.
The lean condition can be caused by other thing other than the heated oxygen sensor.
It could be a bad Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR), sopped up fuel filter, dirty MAF sensor, TP Sensor or fuel pumps going bad.
Or maybe you did not clear the code.
