Rear diff fluid?
06 Escape XLT V6 4WD, anybody heard that you should replace the 80w90 rear diff fluid with 75w140 when your truck is exposed to temps under 40 degrees F for long periods of time? I live in central MN so we see that for 6 months of the year. I don't tow or back a boat into a launch ever. I was just surprised to see that.

The 2006 Service Manual still calls for SAE 80W-90 Premium Rear Axle Lubricant
XY-80W90-QL (US); CXY-80W90-1L (Canada) WSP-M2C197-A. I could find no TSB/FSA calling for the 75W140. My F150 did call for the change though.
