Rag joint issues
Hi everyone. The power steering box in my 77 F-100, 3 speed manual, 300 six, which I bought in 1977, is starting to leak. I went to NAPA to get a replacement and after installing it, my rag joint wouldn't go on the new box. The splines were different, more rounded. I took my rag joint down to NAPA and it wouldn't fit on any of the boxes they had so they returned my money and I put the old one back in. I am stumped. Has anyone had a similiar problem? I live in San Diego. Is there a place that will rebuild my original that someone can recommend? Can I rebuild it myself?
