Hopefully I can get the springs cleaned up and new poly bushing installed. . .toss em in and might even be able to roll the axle under

But!! Since I had originally cut the axle up for an older truck I have to figure out how to mount a track bar and the sway bar ends

 

yeah i wanna replace the bushings on mine too... still debating whether to go back to the stock rubber ones or go poly... stock rubber ones come with complete new hardware polys dont ... just had to change the battery in my truck the other day cuz i found out it had 2 dead cells in it...

 

nope, too late! money pit forever, lol!! i learned very fast that the more i learn...the more mods i need to do!

i got absolutely nothing accomplished with my truck today...besides to um, somewhat deliberately, nearly take out the '09 (or '10?) f150 the visiting real estate stupidly parked so that it was blocking in all 4 vehicles i use to drive to the barn

i really should do something about the door tomorrow...perhaps if it is warmer. today was cold! and she didn't want to start. took two tries each time and then a full-out can't-see-the-house cold start smoke cloud.

also going to see if i can pick up those 37s next saturday. which will force me to con someone into helping me shim the bumper this week.

 

nahh if ya get to problems soon enough they can prevent others from happening... its when people dont that others keep occurring...

con? you shouldnt have to con people as pretty as you are... they should be jumping to help you...

 

who said anything about problems...lol!! technically if i fix the door handle and put new tires on her, she's good to go. but damned if i ain't gonna keep putting money into her anyways...it is called "pms." that "plotting" list in my sig...that's only the stuff that the new rules let me fit: it's actually considerably longer than that...

yeah, well, i need a time and place and it needs to happen. i've been draggin my feet all winter and driving the honda, but i have a lot coming up i will actually need her for, so now i gotta get my act together. and let go of my money :/

Today was a bit colder than I had wanted. . .and laying on cold concrete all day didn't make it any better. . .that and I've some stomach pains for the last few days. . .really weird

BTW, welder is here. . .tomorrow is spotty, I WANT to work on my truck but have about 6 other things that might take priority. . .one might be out in Chesapeake getting the well fixed

Also, if you don't find a new diff for your truck the one I just pulled out of mine is 3:55 gears. . .was going to keep the hubs for spares and try and sell the rest but I'm not sure yet, lol. . .still trying to sell my '78 truck frame and those last parts. . .very disappointing
