Depends on the lift....A good suspension lift, will cost more than 3,400 installed.

Every part is specially made, and even stuff you may not think of has to be redone to work.
A tall lift also means new driveshafts, and all suspension parts, shocks, steering components etc.

My pal drives a lifted Jeep, he has about $22,000 into the lift and all the goodies for the lift. Rims, tires, diffs and gears, bumpers, winch etc.

But its amazing where it will go.

But wouldnt most of the new parts required be covered in that $6000 price he quoted for the kit? I meant as a labor price alone $3400 seems high, thats 34 hours of shop time. Of course I do understand that if someone was going for one of those "show only" 20" lifts or something, then that $3400 would be reasonable for the install.

LOL the Chev kifts are really time consuming to put in, and a lot of it takes two guys. Lifting those IfS font ends can become a nightmare in a hurry, and believe it or not we were cheaper than a lot of the other shops in town.

Oh yea, that is a pretty high lift. I guess I got a pretty good deal for my lift install then, it is IFS as well but a pretty basic kit.

I did my lift this fall, it was hell and expensive. Going into it I knew I had to completely rebuild my front end, but I did think the truck would fight me the whole way. It was worth it though, now I have a new front end...

I contemplated a lift for the X, and then the price quote quickly drove me to just replacing the springs. I ended up with 2" of lift, which was a bonus for some tire travel.
The lift, then bigger rims and then tires! Just that thought drove me over the edge!

That is sweet. You need to do something with the door though. It doesn't match. How many slides?

That fifth wheel is certainly,.. unique.

After alot of stalling I think today is the day I finally start my next health kick for a while. I put on too much weight having the winter off work, need to start hitting the gym again.
