I need to get some stuff chromed. Wheres the nearest place to us in albuquerque?

 

Try calling Chicks Harley Davidson. Desert Rat may know also.

 

Chicks is LONG gone. The new (for several years) place is Thunderbird Harley Davidson. They don't do any chrome plating there. But, someone there may know where you could get some chrome work done. I doubt it though.

Desert Rat is a bolt on accessory pit. They most likely wouldn't know either. Worthless I say.. Worthless...

I think your best bet would be to seek out a body shop or better yet, a custom hot rod shop and see if they know who would do Chroming?

If you find out.. post it. I wouldn't mind having some stuff black chromed.

 

Well, I got good news and bad news. The good news is i got the name and number of a place that does the chrome plating, bad news is its in el-paso.
I went to mild to wild and they told me thats the closest to us. it is electroplating of el paso and # is 1-800-333-5766. Im gonna call em on friday and see whats the deal..

It might not be as bad as you think. My work takes me to El Paso once or twice a month. If you need me to I could probably deliver and pick up your parts for you. I have a 1/2 ton truck and my bed is usually pretty empty on my trips. I'll probably be going back down on the 11th and again 2 weeks after that.

what about albq bumper thay did some chrome for me a while back

 

Not sure about albq. bumper. But i appreciate the offer bobby, i just shipped all my stuff off today though. Small hood trim and it only cost me six bucks. I will keep the delivery service in mind though. I will get some more pics up this weekend, i got my bed and fenders painted cab on saturday.
