Started to do an exterior detail on my beast and noticed that there are a few spots on my roof of hard, dries pine sap from last summer that I hadn't caught before.
My question here is: what can I do to remove this hardened sap without ruining the clearcoat on my white paint. I am a little paranoid about trying a cure that's worse than the problem!
Appreciate any recommendations.

Clay bars work great on tree sap. The kits are a little expensive, but worth the cost, verses damaging the paint. Don't go near your paint with a heat gun, you'll regret it.
