Question about an '89 F350

Hello to everyone in the forum, and thanks in advance for any ideas on my situation.

I found a truck for sale in the neighboring town. It's and '89 F350 4x4 with a 9' plow and 460 motor. The guy had a new tank sending unit installed and now it keeps blowing a fuse under the dash(I wish I had more info than that, but I haven't been to see it yet - tomorrow night). He said it's never done that before. He said that he jumped the fuse and the thing started up and ran fine.

The truck is a steal for the price he's asking, if he's telling the truth, as it's supposedly in good enough shape to register. Is there anyone in here with a similar experience or insight into what might be going on? I'm thinking the shop that did the sending unit maybe screwed something up and now there's something grounding out that shouldn't be????

Thanks,

-Sean
