There is a group of Ford Truck fans having a meet at the Jack Daniels Distillery on March 7. It will be several groups there but its being put on by VirturalFord.org. A SVT group from Chatt will be there too. You can find info on the meet at the VSO website. This is a great event. The tour is free but it does involve a lot of walking. From what I've read already it looks to be quite large this yr.

Man what a get tour, a American must see sight, and to have a bunch of Fords in town square (court house lawn) is priceless. We did a motorcycle ride last spring there about 20 bikes from Clarksville all back roads too and from. Great place for a gtg...

Went a year or two back with the SVTOA Nashville group. Well worth it and came home with a Jack Daniels barrel (empty of course). Hopefully the weater will be good for this.......

I've lived here for 15yrs and never visited JD's ,maybe it's time to go.

 

I will promise you will never meet a better group of folks. I've made a huge meet at Stone Mountian in Atlanta .Two in Chatt one in Murf & several in the Nashville area.They made me feel welcome & showed me a great time.

 

Awesome man. Don't post as much over there due tono projects to say the least (maybe until March).

yep howard,there looks like there will be alot of fords there.we have members from both clubs(vfo and sm&ff)going to be there.i cant wait to see the caravan we are going to have coming up

 

I hope lots of my peeps show too.We have lots of mid Tn members.This has become a big G2G & draws lots of cool trucks& Mustangs. I'll keep it on the top of the page so everyone will see this post.Torkum are you saying we say a lot of funny snit on the other site.If so thanks. We try our best.Its what this chapter needs. If we got to know each other better through humor it might make more folks show up at meets to get in on more funny stuff. I personally know most of those guys at the other site. They are a crazy bunch to hang out with at meets.

 

Howard, I have got a few laughs and a few I don't know what to say lurking over at VF. Hopefully with a few more GTGs here we can have some fun and know each other a little better.
Just had a thought, at the JD gtg should we hand out name tags with our screen name and our first name?

 

Thats a good idea about name tags. There may be a huge crowd from what I hear on VFO

 

Need to give the event a name and call it a annual event while we have a big group together so everyone will be looking for it next year.

 

Well this event started with one site & has moved to a better site due to the old one going to crap.Its all ads all the time on the old site.You can't view FTW without a good ad blocker.Ten Magazines ruined that place.

 

Yea I remember reading all that. I think the real problem at FTW is greed and thats why people gravitate to passion.
It would really be cool to take this meet [JD] to a national event for Fords
