im not real sure.

it seems like its working but, with the key on the gauge pegs out passed full, and when the key off the needle falls to full. I dont know if the differnt size wire that I spliced in, messed up the resistance readings, or what.

Hmm strange prob. you could pull the wire and ground it, the gauge should read full. I guess you prob. didn't check if the sender worked correctly with the gauge while it was out. This brings back memories.
