Tell me about it Rob. My mainline blower for moving snow is in need of repair... We are getting snow now. I have no idea of its going to meet my trigger amounts.

Just got home from an afternoon in Aberdeen. Visited some friends.

 

The wife suggested that I get an ATV with a snowplow... I'm thinking she might not be feeling well... imagine a woman suggesting that a guy get something with four wheels.

I told her it would be a shame to leave an ATV sit all summer, so I'd have to buy ATV's for her and the kids, then we'd need a toy hauler so we could go somewhere and have fun in the summer!

edit - better get a Super Duty to tow all that with too, what was I thinking.......

 

so how bad did you guys get it? Here in H20town it they closed down school and it was pretty windy. I went out snowmobiling and out by the interstate you couldn't even see that 100 yrds ahead of you. It was pretty interesting.

 

It was blowing around here quite a bit in Pierre. Didn't get much. Clearing was easy and done in short order.

 

About the same here, not much snow, but the wind made visibility really bad. Lots of cars off the highway.

 

I was working when that mess rolled in. Just north of the Vermillion exit was the worst.

Today I was called in 5 hours early to cover a shift. So a 12 hour day for me here.

 

Well i got a big day tomorrow with the CAT people coming to LATI to talk about thier Think Big program. They are going to be looking at Internships for summer. So hopefully I get an Internship in Pierre this summer or somewhere close to Murdo.

 

That would be great Frankie. Butler Cat seems to do pretty good in and around Pierre.

 

Hey, you guys up North want to close the dang gate???? Enough is enough on this cold weather crap!!!!! Supposed to start warming a bit tomorrow, guess I'll believe that when I see it too!!!!

 

Its terrible cold. Holy smokes its cold.

 

Yeah it was so cold out that CAT couldnt even make it today.To think that its even going to be colder tomorrow and i have to deliver pizzas all night tomorrow.

 

It was so cold that I slept in this morning. Totally worth it. I would like to crawl back into bed. Tomorrow is my day off though.

 

Yeah it was cold today. My pickup would hardly start up this afternoon. Its the frickin afternoon and it barely started up. Well its going to be one heck of a weekend with the Murdo Invite plus, gettin my pickup fixed. Oh Ryan I'm going to be driving through Pierre so what about me stopping by and visitng for awhile?

 

Wow!!! 20 degrees to the plus side of the thermometer today, and nicer tomorrow!!!! Me and the whole gang going riding tonight on the sleds! Finally should be a decent evening to ride, anyway. Betcha the lake is frozen mighty solid buy now, ice racing is FUN!!!!!!

Why don't one of you come and buy me out? Then I can leave for Texas now instead of waiting til Fall!!!!! The way the economy is right now, starting to wish I would have sold my hose last year!!!! Oh well, maybe things will pick up by summer......
