Mindblower Performance Chip

I recently seen an online add for a Mindblower Performance Stage 6 Fuel Maximizer Performance Module. I'm always a bit skeptical when I see modules like this one(not to mention it says it will work on my OBD1 Ranger), but I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about them as I am unfamiliar with the company. Thanks for any info!

Thumbs up Mindblower Performance

I just bought one for my 2005 5.4L F-150 and it makes it shift smoother right off the bat. I am still on my first tank and it seems to be using less. I got one for my 2005 Mustang GT and I noticed a small HP gain but what I do notice is it does work on my Stang. I get 4mpg more. For 30.00, you can't beat it. It pays for itself. I have heard it is a scam but it works as far as I am conserned. I didn't get 50 more hp but I got at least 20 hp out of it on the Stang.

It's a fooler. While it can work, it's not a great way to do it. Typically these change the resistance in the ECT sensor, but I've seen more sophisticate ones that adjust the TPS signal. to each their own, but a dyno tune will yield the best results and a canned tune will be second best. This is just the cheapest option.
