Pulling harmonic balancer - SAE thread!
Surprise!
Not ALL threads are metric on the '99 V10. While pulling the harmonic balance last night, I found that the three threaded holes for the puller to attach to appear to be 3/8-16 thread.
I tried several pitches of 10mm bolt and none fit as well as the 3/8".

Interesting - I can only imagine that Ford thought it would be better to use SAE because one of their tools come with that thread and didn't want to make the techs buy a new tool?
