95 F250 Suspension

I'm new to this site and have found it very intersting, but have not found what I'm looking for. I have a 95 F250 with a 460. This is my first Ford. Bought it used from a friend. I like the truck overall, but I'm having difficulty getting used to the MAC truck ride. Is there anything I can do to smooth out the ride and not affect the towing capability? I pull a 26' fifth wheel weighing in at 6,500. The 460 power is awesome with the added headers, K/N, and Flow Masters, but will a chip make a difference in pulling power or fuel milage? I greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.
