PROBLEM - 2000F150 4WD - HELP
I have a 2000 F150 Ext.Cab Flareside 4 WD with 5.4 engine. Truck has about 13,000 miles. I experience a clattering sound originating from the engine during acceleration. Sound is not exteremely loud but is audible. Only occurs during acceleration. I have been to 2 different dealerships in past 30 days who cannot find a problem. They acknowledge the sound but do not know what it is. I have tried different grades of gas with no luck. Dealer says bring it back when it gets worse or breaks! E mailed Ford who said the same thing. Anyone else experiencing this?
