hello all, new user here. i got an 01 f150 5.4 4x4, tough as nails, with 130k on it. its been a dandy truck and still is but in the last week or so ive noticed chimes after i start it but dont know what the problem is. i start the truck, doors are closed, seatbelts fastened and then 15-20 seconds later i get a series of 4 chimes repeated for 3 more times. ive read on here where a series of 5 chimes 5 times is air bag indicator light is burnt out, is anyone aware of a 4x4 series of chimes. all my gauges are good and i have no indicator lights lit.

 

Welcome to FTE jaerensdad! When you turn the truck on before it is started, do all of the lights illuminate? CEL, air bag, and passenger air bag lights in particular?
