Please Help Stuck

I HAVE A 2003 F 250 7.3 L 4X4 WORKING ON FRONT AXLE I NEED TO PULL THE DRIVER SIDE SHAFT OUT TO REPLACE SEAL HOW DO U PULL THE SHAFT OUT TOOK OFF THE PUMKIN COVER OFF BUT DONOT SEE HOW TO TAKE THE SHAFT OUT PLEAS HELP ME GUYS

do a search here but I think that axel has retainers out in the hub end ???????

Tires, wheels, and bearing need to come off before the axle comes out. There is no way to get a front axle out throught the diff cover.

Why do you need to get the axle out?

to replace the knuckle seal take off the wheel, caliper, rotor, and bearing assembly (four bolts behind it). once you get that out of the way take a pry bar and put some pressure on the axle near the u-joint. should come right out, some are harder than others. it will slide right back in though. check everything else while it is torn apart like the bearing assembly and the needle bearing that is on the backside of the bearing assembly. also the axle joint.

just a heads up those knuckle seals need to be pressed on. i just took mine to the dealer and they pressed them for free. some people have made a tool to do this but after messing one up i decided practicing with these at $34 a pop wasn't worth it and took it to a dealer.
