'92 died, and restarted...?
I jumped in my '92, 300, truck this evening, turned the key to on, listened for the relays, etc. and went to turn it over. Hit one crank, then acted like it completely shorted out, and then it came back to life and cranked after 2 or 3 rotations...
I'm sorta stumped, not completely sure if this has happened before.. I just inspected and cleaned all grounds, installed a new starter solenoid(old one was pushing up daisy's"), and looked but don't see where my new alt connection could be making for a short...Anyone have this problem before or encountered it?
After I drove it for about an half-hour, I shut it off at the house, let it sit a moment, and tried again, it cranked fine. It cranked fine yesterday after my new alt conn. and my new starter solenoid. Also the weather was dry and cold, so I'm ruling out condensation and moisture.
Also changed the neutral saftey switch as of 12/06.
What a bummer for small hiccups!
