Help? - OR

I have a 1967 Ford F100, and it has manual assist steering i am in the procces of puting power steering in it. i am wondering if anyone knows how i would start this project??? will a 1974 power steering box work that is out of a 2wd?

Yuck ! That was sure a grimy mess prior to Cleaning !
After cleaning and ?? hours of TLC your steering assist unit looks brand new. Nice effort.

What method of cleaning did you use ? scraping and digging or did you dip it ?

Just curious because as i look at that messy mess, I think of Steam Cleaner. hahaha which i don't have.

'74 4x4 F-250 pickups with PS i think had power assist units, for the guy who was asking. not sure about the units used in vans in '74.
Fyi: on my '77 F-350 2x to 4x conversion I sourced a Ford Corp PS box out of a 2wd F150 for $40 and made my own adapter plate which bolts to the frame through spools.
