Good Morning all

Thought I would do a intro and then ask some questions for the more experienced out there.
My name is Steve, live in central Ct., family, self employed.
Have a 02 250 super duty with plow that is not my primary vehicle, just for plowing and wood hauling. This is a work beast and does not have a straight panel on it. Was used hard b4 i got it but was reasonably priced to reflect the usage. 87000 mi and there is always something to do. Mostly rust related.
I have a 03 E 450 SD box van with a 7.3 for work as well as my trusty 99 chevy CC dually( the best vehicle I ever owned, thirstyist too!) Sorry guys but there is less rust under the chev than both fords put together.
Thoughts of trading something in but the new stuff is $$$ and not free from problems from what I hear.
BTW found a puddle of ps fluid under the s box on the ice sat am. Just did the lines in the fall. seems to be flowing out the seal. Guess its time for s box r&r. Any thoughts? Was intending on getting a rebuild from NAPA. Any guess as to how long a project this is?

Hello everybody!
Names Mike, been checking the site for sometime, finally decided to join.
Come from a Chevy family and have been a Chevy guy until I got my Ford Taurus which convinced me that Ford was the superior brand.

Last summer I purchased my first Ford pickup, a 1999 F-250 Super Duty, Crew Cab, Short box... 6.8L V10

It has over 200k miles but runs like a champ. Is a little beat up but gives me something to tinker with when I don't anything better to do.

I have commitment issues

Howdy y'all. I've had way too many questions answered here via google searching to not join in. Until now, I had commitment issues, as I tend to be somewhat of a forum ***** - waste way too much time on em. Anyway, gonna create a gallery, but for now, wanted to say howdy from Broken Arrow, OK!

new as of 2/11: '06 4x4 Dually Long Bed w/ 15,000 miles

Looking for my first upgrades to put on my truck. With just 15,000 miles on it, it's been completely stock. I am interested in Banks Big Hoss kit and hoping to find some friends on here who have opted for the big package. Will probably do wheels next. Thanks.

6.4 blown head gasket?

Hi all, newbie here! I have owned my '08 F-360 for two years now and I use it to tow a 26' camping trailer, and it is awesome! The truck came with a maintenance package which I have used for every scheduled service. After the last two services, the service writer informed me that I had a leaking radiator and then the last time I was informed that the engine is leaking oil and has a blown head gasket. All the work is being done under warranty. I would like the forums opinion on this, as it seems a little fishy to me that I am needing major work on the motor everytime I take it to the dealer. I'm happy the dealer is catching this, Im just a little suspicious. Any thoughts guys?

Hello all!! Was a member here back in 03-05 but got side tracked by a boat. Came back and it feels good to be here. I bought a new 04 4x4 F250 V10 6 speed 4.30's SC SB for towing my 28' twin V8 powered boat. Generally pulls about 13k pounds but it's only for a few miles for winter storage and then back to the water for a summer of salmon fishing. The site sure has gotten better too!

Hello all. New member here however not new to the Ford truck world. Just traded in my 01 F-150 Crew Cab 4.6 for a 2006 F-350 Crew Cab (long bed) 5.4 liter. Needed to make the move for some more towing power as the wife is looking for "upgrade" to a larger travel trailer! Not sure of the axel ratio but I can get that from the VIN#, correct?

Newbie first post...

I'm a fng here and hope to learn and maybe contribute to the greater good of all Ford truck owners! I was a Ford Master diesel technician back in 2000 but my 2006 6.0 is a whole new world to me! Anyway, if anyone has any 7.3 questions I can probably answer them. Hopefully some folks here can answer my 6.0 questions. Thanks in advance to everyone!

Hey everyone...another newbie here. Im currently deployed to Iraq, and my wife just bought me a 2000 F250 4x4 Super Duty Supercab with the V10 as an anniversary present. Figured I would come here to get some information on what I can do to it while I have time to research stuff. Looking forward to getting some good information!

Thanks for your service and what a great anniversary gift. My wife bought my truck for me as well. From my Ford Technician experience, you can't go wrong with the V10. Any of the big trucks cost a lot to fuel, gas is cheaper than diesel! Hit me up if you have any questions, I know that model pretty well.
