hello from Dubai!

I've been lurking a while now but, like all good friends, I only call when i need something!

Anyway, I've a 2015 5.0 V8 FX4 Lariat with aFe intake and exhaust on 33" tyres and I spend my time commuting and rescuing people from the desert!

Been here and gone - back again

Hey guys I have been missing for 9 years after my F150 project got dumped. So I am back - this time with a 2003 F250 XLT 2WD Super CAB short bed 5.4 .....

It is a project truck but ultimately is for use around the property. My skill set is a little rusty, so I will be scouring the site for knowledge.

MeNmy937.3

Greetings FTE members...I recently bought a 1993 f350 7.3 and am now in the process of becoming a diesel mechanic, lol. Never been much of a mechanic, but for some reason I want to learn this motor/truck. I hope that along the way I'm hoping to pick the brains of those who've gone where I'm going, and just maybe leave a lil knowledge for those who come after.

Hello, I just came to own a 1966 F100 and I need new front brakes. I will not be getting a donor truck or going to a pick and pull. Can I get some recommendations for a complete kit that will bolt on?

Exclamation Hello everyone!

Hello to everyone! This seems like a great site for information on Ford trucks, of which I have one. I purchased a 2001 F150 Supercrew with the 5.4 engine, 4r70w transmission, 35 inch tires, Rough Country 5 inch lift kit. I have rebuilt the front end using basically all Moog parts. I have changed the plastic intake, timing chains guides and tensioners, swapped an old lift master kit for the rough country one. I put MSD streetfire coils on it. Changed the spark plugs. I had the transmission rebuilt by a shop nearby although I did the removal and installation myself with help from a couple of friends. I had the ECM "repaired" by a place in NY that does that sort of thing. Yet still I cannot get this truck to run right, and now I am having new transmission issues. All I can get from my friends is stuff like "that's a ford for you" and "maybe you should get a chevy". However it seems like some of the people on this site have fords that run ok so here I am to try and get some good advice on what to do next. I have dumped tons of money and I think a little bit of my soul into this truck. I am on the verge of deciding that ford trucks are pieces of junk like all of my friends say.

Can you help me? I am so far beyond the value of this truck as far as money spent that I will never see any return on my investment. I am just looking to get this thing running right and shifting right so that I can either sell it or drive it 3 miles to work and back everyday. I will have many questions and I thank you all in advance for any help you can give me.

Dylan

This is my first post. Not sure how to use this yet. I have a 2009 F 250 Super Duty (gas) that is mint and used primarily for plowing my driveway in northern Michigan. I've always wanted a F 250. Our family is littered with F 150s (brother and sons). My truck is white, extended cab, short box with a Western V plow. It does move snow. I do have a mirror question but will ask in the appropriate place on this forum.

Hello all, new to the site and new to the powerstroke. I've been in a ford truck since 2011 (EB F150). I tow a 35 foot travel trailer and it was starting to get a bit much for the EB when faced with towing up mountains. 4 months ago, I decided to jump over to a 2017 F250. My towing experience has been nothing less than amazing..... making me wonder, what was I waiting for all these years?
Anyway, looking forward to learning from you guys.
