well i'm having trouble finding a distributor cap for my flathead i bought a new one and it snapped my new rotor in half and then i put the old rotor on and it snapped too but if i put the old cap on it works fine with the new rotor i went and picked up today but the parts store told me thats the right cap and it obviously isn't. So I wanted to post my own thread and i can't find how to do that because i wasn't finding anything.

That section should be able to help ya out. Click the link, and at the top left of the page is a blue "new thread" button, click it and you should be set.

Hey I guess I've been a chapter member for a while and didn't realize it. Anyway, my name is John and I live in Minot. I'm active duty Air Force and a southern boy from the Carolinas. I'm not made for these winters and will hopefully be moving back down south as soon as the AF will let me
You can see by my signature what is currently in my stable. Most are in storage in North Carolina waiting on my retirement and the opening of my rod and custom shop. At the house here I have the 59 Ford, my 97 1 ton, the Jeep for the wife during the winter and her Mustang for the oh so short summer.
Other than those I have owned
63 Galaxie 500
another 65 Mustang
78 Courier
83 Wagoneer
98 Ranger
two 00 F150s
01 Expedition
01 F350
and
06 F150
I have a bunch of pics in my albums
Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - jokerforever's Albums
I have build threads open for my F350
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...350-build.html
and the 59
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...e-rat-rod.html
and also a thread open to document the engine build for the 59
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...52-revver.html
So y'all can see I've had a fairly good range of vehicles and have stayed completely band loyal with the exception of a pair of Jeeps (and one of those had so many Motorcraft and Autolite parts under the hood it was like working on a Ford). I also have a good mechanical experience seeing that I've had my hands on everything from Models Ts to PowerStroke Diesels. If y'all need some help or advise feel free to hit me up. I'll see what I can do
