My case parts still havent come from the states yet, and I was hoping to get the snowblower nice and ready and set up before it snows!

You should have bought my JD, no parts would be needed for it for a very long time!
On edit: Cool, this is my post number 25,000!

Thanks for the congrats.
Sometimes I think I should have kept the JD but the larger Ford 800 cuts grass faster, with the bigger tires it`s smoother. Also I sit up a higher, more out of the dust.
This meant the JD sat around most of the time while my neighbour really wanted to buy it.

Do you have a tow behind mower for your ford? If so, how wide is it?

Thats another thing i am thinking of doing, getting an old tractor from Ryan, and using this old 5 foot mower my grandpa gave to me.

Oh nice, that would be a pricey little model too! Bet it works like a charm. Is it one of those finishing ones?

I actually like the way you have it set up. Big mower that chips up the majority of your grass fast, then a small riding one to do the fine stuff.

I bought the Farm King mower during a special, it was very reasonable.
The previous one I had was also a FK though in used condition when I got it stood up real well, it was a good while a simple design and no problems getting reasonable priced consumables such as blades/belts/bearings from Flaman`s. As well some great after service from them as well, ya gotta love that!

I thought that this mower was at the best price in town and with a clearance price it was sweet.
Farm & Garden sells the very same mower I think, painted green of course, for afew hundred more.........

Yeah, as much as I like that painted green equipment, the price is a total turn off.

They must have gold under the paint, or something!
