yeah, I think I'd go the cab replacement route if you can find a good one. I hate body work, but, I hate paying for it even more!!

I'm right there with ya Pat.
But I think I'll give the body work a spin. I've never done it and this would be a great learning experience I think

Even out here, it's tougher and tougher to find a good rust free cab. If the cab mounts and the part behind the wheel is good, I would just try to arrest the rust around the windshield with Por-15, RustMort or one of those kind of products.

I have looked at the swap meet, but not the others.
Havent had any luck as of yet. I don't want to have to get it from Kentucky if I can avoid it..
I could just as easily get a pre '67 and do an engine-tranny swap

See, there you go, getting all picky on us! Come on, Kentucky is only how many miles from you.......

Ha! Just kidding man. I know what you mean. Hey, check in Arizona. There is a place here that goes down there, and finds truck beds, and brings them back up here. That wouldn't be too far to go for you.

all 4 of my doors bottom 6 inch and the front fenders bottom 6 inches has rust on my cab, but other then that not to bad.

at lest you have that option, it would be really hard to find a better crew cab cab.
