back pressure sensor error
I have a 94 7.3 turbo d replaced back pressure sensor and upgraded exhaust 3"down -4" with no cat or muffler truck never has never had them in my 3years I still am geting the same sensor error p0470 don't know where to go from here need advice anyone.

The P0470 should be diagnosed by checking the EBP input to the computer.
Using a scan tool you compair the EBP to the MAP and BARO pressures with the
key on and engine off. They all should be atmospheric pressure. In LA this
should be 14.7 PSI. If you are up in the mountains it may be lower. If
you check the voltage on the purple/light blue wire at the EBP sensor it
should be 0.8-1.0 volts KOEO. Your glow plug codes are probably the relay.
If the contacts get burnt they will not allow voltage to the glow plugs and
this will turn on the check engine light. Install test light on the glow
plug relay output terminal to see if it lights when you turn on the key.
