engine light ??
A little help here,
My engine light comes on up grade with load (10000 lb camper) or when i romp on it..back off the fuel and it does go out..It has came on with the piro at 1000f and at 800f.. what do i do to stop this..
My Truck: 2003 f250 7.3turbo, cold air intake, banks monster exhaust, preditator programer( does the same in any setting)..
I know this is choppy info, i will answer any question you guys have...thanks in advance

Read this and see if this is what is happening. At around 22# boost the PCM will start defueling. click here

boost is 10-15 psi.. i have a code reader and its not giving me any..the dealer has also checked, same with him no codes......when the light comes on the truck does seems a little weak and some black smoke through the exhaust..

If no codes are stored and the boost is 10-15#'s, I think Chris is on track with your issue.

Seems strange you get a SES light with no codes... With my code reader you must first turn the ignition key to on before checking the codes..otherwise it will say "no codes"..
I also get the SES on pulling a hill with a load, but I am blaming the HPOP for just not keeping up with the demand..becuz of your tuner (which is pretty normal).. Go back to stock and try it..
