Friday the 29th is our travel day. I will be homeward bound probably Thursday night.

Good morning Shaun and evening to you Liz.
Doug, the perferred packs in this county seem to be Scott, MSA, ISA and a few Dragger. With the call volume that we have and the frequency that we need to wear the packs, the Scotts do us just fine. I just wish for the guys that wear them that we had the fiberglass wound bottles instead of the aluminum that we have for the most part. We even have some steel bottles, but we use those as the 2nd bottle in our 2 bottle then rehab approach.

The Delaware State Fire School is one of the test sites for MSA. Just about any of the new technologies that come out, we get to test and train with them. I have used Scott's only once and have also worn a Draager. It all depends on what you are use to and comfortable with. Every manufacturer has its pluses and minuses. It all depends on what your tastes are.

Yeah I will get home in time to jump in the truck and tow the camper for the long weekend. Drive 5 hrs to turn around and drive another hour and half.

You are 100% correct Doug in your statement.
Shaun... I am just waiting to take my big chunk of time off in November. For the last few years, both my wife and I have taken the full week before Thanksgiving along with the Monday - Wednesday before T-day off. It is a nice way to get 16 days off !!!!
BTW, I also get election day and Veteran' Day so if I plan it just right, I only have to work about 6 days the entire month of November.
