Hey all, anyone have any suggestions for me as to how to clean up my ***** and switches. A previous owner had repainted the interior of my cab Ford blue, but neglected to cover any of my switches or *****. Now I have the associated spatter I would like to clean up. I used to build model boats and cars and such so I have a bunch of paint around here, would a spray enamel work?

For the ones I could or not remove completely I always use fine steel wool and just polish them. You can then use model paint (black) and brush over the recess letters and once dry; use steel wool and reclean off any excess paint.

It did but with the amount of overspray on the brake handle, I just sprayed over the whole thing, I'm going to use white paint for the lettering. It looks pretty good so far
