E bay headers installed!!!
Well I got the headers on this w/e and I can see why places get so much to do that job! but it went pretty smooth, 8 out of 20 studs busted, 1 above the surface of the head. Thanks to all for the info on what was needed to do this job (welding a nut to a broken stud, using a square easy out). One note of caution, be careful when installing the drivers side header to not bend the dip stick tube to much, mine was rusty and it broke off, prolly not a problem for you guys in the south and west.
I can definetly feel that the engine revs quicker, it feels like it accelerates quicker also, I don't know about gas milage yet, and in my opinion, it does not sound any different at idle but when the truck is under load you can hear a nice header sound. The job took me 12 hrs over 2 days, I don't think that was too bad, just happy its done.
