Good all that luerj here.
A neighbour was talking about putting two C cans 30-40 ft apart then putting rafters over the space in between plus a third sea can as the back wall. I want to check this out to see how it turned out.

Evening boys. Safely to and from Swan River with our firewood. This is our 2nd load, I think its the same place you get from Grant. The whole family works for the Intermountain company I think. John runs the grapple loading the wood. Pretty good guy and a real slick operator with that grapple. My toque was covering my eyes a bit so I got him to pull it back a bit I like how they run their wood through a tumbler, it cleans it up pretty good. They keep that yard fairly clean. I use my 20' car hauler for the wood. I built 2' stake sides on it and it works out to 1.9 cords in a heaping tossed load. The 5.0 works like a charm for towing.

Spent another hour or so in the garage this evening, things are slowly coming together in there.

Morris, be sure and take a pic of that contraption!! I'd be real interested in seeing the finished product.

Have a great evening boys!!

I did this one year, about 11 years ago. It was all fine until a flash melt and I didn't have a way of getting it away from the house faster than it was melting so guess what? Yep...it all ended up in the basement. Not good times.

Probably do a little wood stacking today and a little work in the shop again.

That's a really cool idea for storage eh Gerry?

Have a great day guys!!

That is actually a great idea, I'd enclose the center section as my main garage and have one as a side shop and the other for storage.

Happy Hump Day mornin'all Jordan is now off for the holiday, and the 3 of us are going to finish the rink today. Those sea cans are ideal . I like John's thinking of putting the shop in the centre. I'd also use one can for like a small machine/ fab shop. I need to do something in my yard to make a winter sorage for my 56 and keep my yard equipment stored. I'll take some pictures, and see what you guy's think. have a great day guy's.

Hey Grant, can you drive past your existing garage now to get in your back yard, I remember you saying something about a water line or something like that. I really like the idea of those containers , you could even hide future projects in them..

Those sea cans are great, pretty much bullet proof too,
yes I was gonna have a shop between the cans

then I figured the tax & all on a second property & decided to build my new garage at home

I wish I had seen that idea about 10 years ago, that's what I would have done on my spare lot.
