Now I gotta get a radiator. So now I'm at a standstill til I get that going.

I was driving it last week and the water pump gave out on it. So after 4 hours of heating bolts I got it apart and installed the new one. Let it run for 15 minutes to let the air out of the system and the radiator let loose.
Now I gotta get a radiator. So now I'm at a standstill til I get that going.

Yeah, seems to be a trend, put some stop leak in it to get it home and the oil pressure light kept flickering, I was so upset when I got home I kept telling her that I should get rid of it. But I cooled off and re-thought the whole thing, It's 36 years old and it needs work. So I'm gonna keep working on it.

fords seem real bad for water pump bolts-they seize up around the water pump-broken many of them-I have started using anti seize on those boogers! I guess the steel and aluminum don't like the contact after 10 or so years-saw an old bulletin from a ford mechanic dated early 80s to that effect, they recommended anti seize on all bolts that contact any non steel part-i use it on all the long go through bolts now-well if i can find it in my tool box-getting harder to get random bolts at dealers or junk yards now a days-hey they will sell ya the whole motor-but one bolt? forget it!!
