For old car and truck lovers....This saturday is cruise night at the Sonic on San Mateo in Albuquerque. It typically starts at about dusk. There's typically plenty of cars from several local car clubs there as well as a DJ playing music. People are pretty firendly and its a nice environment.
I'm hoping to be there in my 49 F-1 New Mexico Council of Car Clubs
On Sunday is the annual Albuquerque Museum car show located in the parking lot of the Albuquerque Museum (which is in Old Town in Alb). This is a free car show and features every kind of car imaginable. Everything from old one lung stationary engines, military equipment, stock restorations, original cars, full blown customs and most everything in between. This is one of my favorite car shows for the year. http://nmcarcouncil.org/Documents/Ca...ter%205-18.pdf
Sunday's car show was great. I showed my Bronco, along with a handful of others in the NM4Wers.org "Jeep" club. Tons of cars and other nice scenery too!
Yea, it was good show. Not quite as big as last year though.
If I'd have known you were there I would have introduced myself. I looked at the Jeep stuff just briefly, the old Commando caught my eye as I have a 1967 Commando. I also liked the old long wheel based jeep with the steel top.
Too bad we missed each other, Bobby. My B2 is 2 tone brown and was at the southern end of the Heep line - next to the old fire truck. I had the suspension flexed up on ramps.
I live close to Southern & Unser so the Puerco is real close. I get out when I can but it's never enough. I was in UT wheeling with HappyJack on this site last month, and in Moab with the Bronco Safari.
Haha! I know them! H8PVMNT and Dirty Girl. They are on/mod a local board I'm sure you know of. Brandon's heep is pretty nice. He welded the spring perches on my 8.8. Small world!
Yup, thats them! I figured you probably knew them, they do alot of jeep stuff. It seems every time I stop by their house the dirveway is full of jeeps. They and their friends are a good group, alot of fun.
