putting 351m trans. to 460

if anyone remembers i was having problems locating a transmission for my 460. now i found a whole 1979 f250 with a 351m and a 4 spd in it my question is when i install this transmission is there any problems iam going to run into? i assume iam going to need a 460 clutch kit and flywheel?

it should bolt right up....i think the 351m used a 11" clutch and the 460 and 400 had a 12". Other than that it should be good to go.

we just put a 429 in my buddies truck and it was no problem. just make sure that you use a release bearing for a 351m. mY Buddy got one for a BB and the input shaft hit the back of the crank
