8BA engine.......
Question, the engine I have in my 51 M100 says 8BA, also it says Made In Canada right underneath. My question is, were ford engines all made in Canada? Curious if this engine came with truck or if its out of car? Any help or specs would be appreciated.

I assume you mean the heads say 8BA? Your suspicions are correct, they should really say C8BA if Canadian. At the top of the bellhousing area, near the oil galley taps, does it have C8BA cast into the block? Also, does it have three holes tapped into the oil galley?
I would also assume it's a car engine, trucks would be C8RT. No real difference except perhaps two thin belts vs. one wide one for trucks.
