distributor question

I have a 351 that I'm getting ready to rebuild. Bought most of the par5s now I'm broke. I need a distributor for the 351 {1984) and I have one from a 84 or 85 302. Will it work on the 302?.the bottoms half of the disturbers look the same.

No, 351 is taller, dist is longer, sorry...

thanks my budget says look for a junk yard distributor

Dura Spark II is what to look for according to others here. And there is a sponsor who sells rebuilts. Do a search for DS II or Dura Spark II here to find the threads with info. No nasty points.

I tried searching for sponsor who you said rebuilds Dura Spark II distributors. Can't find the name of the sponsor. Can you just tell me the sponsor is.

I swear they're less than $40 at Napa, take the 302 one as a core and hope the clerk isn't too attentive to detail.

THE thing to remeber is that the 302 and the 351 distributors ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. !!!!! Post #1- You guys should have told him. Shame on you. HEMI?
