Hub question
I have a 89 bronco with automatic hubs and I am getting ready to put some mile markers on it. I has the 5 screw hubs on it now so it should be pretty strait forward from what I discovered when I searched the topic. I was just wandering, do I even need to get the tires off the ground or can I just do it as it sits? Thanks for any help.

Just making sure, your truck has the hubs that are only attached to the outer portion of the rotor hub correct? You do not own the HAT type hubs is this correct?
If so,
You can leave the truck on the ground. Most swaps take 20 minutes or so per side.

Any tricks to getting the inner snap ring off. I had no luck with mine, its not like a normal snap ring it barley goes half way around the axle shaft and doesn't have the tabs or the holes to get a hold of it and I couldn't get it pushed off. This snap ring holds a spacer against the wheel bearing nuts and my hubs won't go in far enough with out taking it out. It is supposed to come out right.

I looked at that post when I searched. The part I am having trouble with is #18 in the diagram, I cant get the hub in far enough to get #20 in. Any one have trouble with this I thought it would be pretty strait forward. I noticed on the link from khadma shown above that you leave parts out if you have the three screw hubs but I don't so I thought all those parts stayed in the hub.
