I tried it and you are right.. It lets me select them, but gives me an error that I don't have permission..

Mike I sent a support ticket in for this right after the change over. It was fixed soon after the support ticket was filed.

Originally it did not work. Sean probably had not checked it since a week or so ago.

Hi Mike, I've searched several items recently, all with good results. Easy and quick.

I think that could be because no one has applied... I have had 4.

On edit: check your requests, I put in a test application using the link in your sig

At least it works for me when I remember to check the box.
Right you are, George - I was expecting the old pop-up box. I now see the box below the message. Thank you.

Seems like a long time to have it resolved

Dennis,

Your bug reports take priority! Not... lol.

Seriously though, there are plenty of hacks which I wrote in the old system which are being tested and ported over by the developer FTE hired "back in the day" (Liviu Dumea now works for IB with the rest of FTE's former employees). The mod box isn't a bug, its simply the way the new VB works due to its dynamic use of Javascript to make buttons more interactive. When you reported it to me it went into the bit bucket because its not a bug (besides, I'm not the "go to" guy anyway and am enjoying FTE without having to be responsible for everything... ).

Now THAT must be nice for a change....

Based on what I have tried to call up, older versions of threads that are archived don't come up. Could be a fun thing later on but for now is unnecessary.

I'm confused ... or rather, the search engine is!

Dunno if this is the right place or not, but I've been trying to search the forums all day long and keep getting the same response. My search request could not be processed:

Cause: Your search terms confused me!

I'm using confusing search terms like "serpentine belt", "tensioner", and "squeal".

Sorry if this isn't the right place, but I figured a thread asking for feedback on how the search feature is working had to be close!

Thanks all for keeping up the good work!

no search

Same here - no search capability all day. I had no idea how much I relied on the search when trying to find answers to little problems.

IB is aware of the problem. It was reported in the mods forum earlier today and I expect they'll get it resolved in due time.
