March is a reserve base now and part of it is also a museum.
There is also a National Cemetery across I-15 from there.
The amount of growth in that area in the last 25 years has been staggering.
It is no longer rural, places that I used to go to hunt now have shopping malls and housing developments. But, people have to live somewhere.
Yeah....One of the largest. Holds 6 greyhound busses in the cargo bay. Being phased out with in the next few years though.
At an air show at Edwards AFB a few years ago, a C-5 was on static display for the public to walk thru. Bigazz plane. I sat inside and drank a beer! Usually only the pilots get to do that.
Mom and Dad said we use to live right across the street from Riverside International Raceway. Dad got transferred after I got born so I was only there about 6 weeks. Sure don't remember much.
