Just saw your post. I thought I had to reply as we E owners are a minority on these boards
I have heard,from people who should know, that '99 and up radios even E series won't fit the '98. My guess would be '93 thru '98 radios will fit. You may get more responses to your question if you post it to the "Audio Systems" conference on this site. I read there that Aerostar radios will fit the E-series.
