Today I noticed that when I shut the tailgate, the large chrome trim piece that makes up a big share of exterior, shakes. I can tell that without attention, it will eventually come off. I used a picture from the forum....its the chrome trim just like you see on the back of this forum members' tailgate.

Can anyone tell me how these are attached and what you've done to reattach the trim?

 

It's held on by a few screws (star head), that can be accessed by simply dropping the tailgate. Pull it off to see if plastic is broken anywhere, and just go from there.
