Thanks Morris! I have it penciled in my schedule ( I mean I asked the wife if I could go ) already so barring an emergency, I can finally get to meet some of you!

Oh man, hearing you guys talking about drag racing makes me miss my Stang soooo bad. Might have to pick up a nitrous kit for the Expy and see what she can do! ( the boss may not go for that )

Looking forward to meeting everybody again for a great time Corey....
I`d like to pick up another 5.0 late 80`s-early 90`s Mustang again.
There`s a 92-93 5.0/5 sp coupe advertised for $8,000, that`s so very tempting but first I`d have to sell my 83 5.0 convertible, I`m right out of indoor storage space.

I'm always looking for an 86 GT or 87 GT with t-tops.

IMHO they were the best years. I love the look of the 86's.

One of my sons has a fairly mint red loaded 86 GT/automatic/T-tops with about 100,000 kms on it plus an 86 Capri/5.0/5 sp.

I myself hate the back window of those capris, they never did appeal to me. My buddy used to have a 6 cylinder 4 speed one and we used to have a ton of fun in it when we were in high school.

Capris kind of grow on me, at first I much prefered a Mustang but now I think the Capris aren`t bad.

I hated the "bubbled" back window also. But I liked the flared wheel wells and the front fasia with the front spoiler looked bada**.

I had an 82 RS Capri before the bubble window with a 2 barrel 302 and 4 speed transmission. The one where you had to push the shifter down to slide it into reverse. Damn good car though, that thing would start at -40 without being plugged in.

Yeah they were good cars. I remember when I first tried to get it in reverse, I was half drunk and what the hell this thing will not go lol.

LOL, That's probably why Ford designed it that way!! Accident prevention!

I remember the first time I powershifted that 4 speed, I thought I was going to break the shifter off!
