Measure from ground to top edge of fender on the front and rear. The diff determines what you need. If you want very level, then get the larger one so long as it doesn't exceed the difference. Otherwise, get the smaller one. But watch what you buy. Some are just lousy cheap ways to level the truck, but not really a safe method.

any thoughts on brands, should i steer away from all the spacers and use springs only or are some spacers good kits?

I haven't used any myself, but I have looked at quite a few and the spacer types just don't seem safe to me. I would personally go with the full spring type. (just haven't bothered spending the money for it yet.)

I am sure there will be others that cna give you better info in here...those that have used them.

i have the mini spring pack. mine was the 2 inch leveling kit, and i had to raise my rear an inch. i used the 2.5inch leveling kit in the front, fabtech 3 inch blocks in the rear. (the stock block on 250's is 1 7/8's inches., hence the 3 inch block). if you go the route that i did you will need new rear shocks, or you can replace all four shocks like me.

hope this helps,

bishop

Are you running the gasser or a diesel? Mine is more then 2 inches lower in the front.

I used the Daystar 2-3/4" poly spacers and had no problems at all. I did have to change to longer front shocks with them, if you go with 1-1/2" kit you would be able to keep your stock shocks.

On the coil spring suspension there is nothing wrong with using spacers for just a levelling kit.

thanks for advice, i haven't measured yet will do it tommorrow. i will likely go with 1.5" if possible, i don't want to replace shocks and i don't want rear any higher just want front end level with rear. ofcourse now that i think about it i do have 75k on the current shocks, wouldn't be much more to replace them while wheels were off?
