salt is one of the reasons of problems with body and suspension parts

 

I oil undercoat my rigs every year and they still look like new

 

Road salt is murder on vehicles. The wife's 10 year old van is developing a case of the lower doors rotting. Within the next year it will be time to replace it as my truck will be paid for. I don't like having 2 payments at the same time.

 

I understand that.

 

When I sold my "88" F-250 2 yearsago..That trck still looked like new..

 

In my area the state DOT likes to use straight salt, where the local highway dept. use a mix of salt and sand.
