I have a 2005 4x4 V-10 and am just about to replace my fuel pump for the second time. The first went out at 8000 miles, under warranty, this second one at 26k. I only have 26k on the truck. I use it to pull my 12k RV for the most part, and have kept up with all maintenance. Is there any known problem with the pump? As the gas burns off, the engine stumbles under any throttle, and as it approaches 1/4 tank it will barely run at all. When I shut it off and re-start, it will run ok for a short time before starting the problem again. Help?
