still having alignment problems
I have my truck back in the shop again. I had it in initially to fix a toe in /out problem where the tuck did not center steer and pulled really bad to the opposite direction the wheel was canted to. When I bought it back in yesterday the service advisor informed me that the supervisor had driven my truck and it was fine. It came out exactly opposite of what it went in for. He stated you are never gonna get a steering wheel to be exactly straight. I told him I just bought a 55k vehicle and you are telling me the steering wheel should be off 3-4 minutes and constanly pull to one side or the other? It actually feels like the steering box is loose, as the truck also seems to wonder. Well they took it back and said they would "check it again and go from there" Can any of you give me any advice on this? My 05 6.0 never had these problems, so I don't understand why is telling me this is nomal.

I assume that they also checked caster in addition to the toe?
You could try taking it to an independent service shop that does alignments.
The shop I use never has had an issue centering the wheel on any of my trucks and getting them to steer and handle beautifully.
